About Us
The founders of Legacy Years Transition Services,  Chuck and Harriet Vaughan, are a husband and wife team. They have been married since 1966 and are senior citizens themselves. They are old enough to share the traditional values of Maine people and young enough to navigate the intricacies of shopping for appraisers, movers, antique dealers, cleaners, real estate agents and the multitude of other services that may be  required.

Chuck Vaughan organizes the handling of 'things'. He measures furniture and works out floor plans for the new, smaller, space and helps to come up with a realistic plan for what can be moved.

Harriet Vaughan organizes paperwork. She sees to it that vital information is located and kept within reach during the relocation process. She also keeps track of the time frame of the process.

Together, they connect you with the services you need for a smooth and successful move and look out for your interests.

Our Privacy Policy

We respect and maintain the privacy of each client. We do not sell, rent, trade, or give away your personal information for any reason.

Legacy Years Transition Services is dedicated to helping transform the down-sizing process into a legacy-creating process by aiding Legacy-Years People to determine what parts of the past they want to claim and take with them, and then create a distribution list of the items they want to donate, sell, or toss.
